New Gunners boss Unai Emery is a known admirer of the midfielder after he tried to sign him when he was the manager of PSG.
It’s reported that Arsenal attempted to sign Fabinho on multiple occasions over the weekend, but a deal had already been in place for him to sign for the Anfield club.

The 24-year-old will now officially join Jurgen Klopp’s side on July 1 after successfully completing his medical, ending a five-year stay in France.
The full details of the signing are yet to be officially confirmed but previous reports suggests it’s in the region of a £43.6/€50 million fee plus potential bonuses.
He will link-up with fellow Brazilian’s Roberto Firmino and Allan in Liverpool’s first team next season.
